Hurricane Dorian

We've spent the last two years cruising onboard S/V Pandion in the Bahamas, and met wonderful, friendly people everywhere we sailed. Hurricane Dorian's catastrophic landfall in the Abacos and Grand Bahama has devastated their lives and their homes. With the guidance of CharityWatch, we've made donations to All Hands and Hearts, Direct Relief, and Mercy Corps, to help provide emergency relief and aid in long term recovery. If you want to help, consider organizations like these that can put boots on the ground quickly, but will also stick around for the long haul. It will take years to recover.
